I loved this one back in the old days but I'm worried it will fall short to more recent versions of Theme Park and especially Roller Coaster Tycoon. But it just might be a nice title to pick up, just for old times sake. http://www.dsparty.nl/nieuws/item/29098/Post your opinions.

Looks rather good so far, although I've never been a huge fan of Theme Park.
Now, if EA decided to port Theme Hospital to the DS, that would be an instant-purchase for me.

As long as they don't make any huge cock-ups in the port, this may be an essential purchase, just for nostalgia purposes.

yeah, Sim City on GBA was pretty much a broken game. Sim City type/Command&Conquer type games should, by rights, proliferate on this system.

I'll preorder it. Seriously, this is the type of game that needs more DS ports. Zoo Keeper is great, this would be even better. Then, someone needs to do either Theme Hospital or SimGolf and my life would be complete.

Rollercoaster Tycoon DS would be my number one on the "please port this game to the DS" list.

It's a tossup for me. I like the park building in RTC better as it's far more detailed, and I go nuts landscaping (drives my wife crazy - she doesn't see why it's important to me that my flowers, trees and shrubs look perfect). On the other hand, the Theme games always have a slight sense of humor to them which is good too.
I'm sure it will be good though - as much as other reviewers didn't like Zoo Tycoon I loved it.

I liked that one too. It did miss some buildings and didn't look as good but it was just as fun as the PC game nonetheless. I think it's an accomplishment to enable players to take their simgames on the go.

Yeah this game looks pretty entertaining, its definetely a step up to have sim games on the ds. Anyone remember JP 3 Park Builder, while somewhat fun, it lacked the depth and iease of controls of other sim games especially on the pc. The DS looks to be a good bet for these types of games though.
