Having a look at the odds from that last match, now that is a match I would have liked to have some money on!

The only problem is we thought the first draw was lucky, and now we have two. I don't think anyone is quite sure what we are doing right. My theory is that this works like Eurovision; once you give up trying, you win (see: Finland with Lordi).

EDIT: Note that by 'win', I mean 'tie with the world champions' in our case - it's just as good as a win for us   Smiley

Beat Paraguay and you're through! You can do it!

Also, they have Eurovision in New Zealand?

Some years they broadcast it. There is a channel here that rebroadcasts all sorts of international shows, and the last couple of years they have broadcast Eurovision about a month after it has taken place.

I feel sorry for the North Korean players. They're gonna get raped.
I reiterate...

EDIT: 7-0 final score. They're dead.

Something tells me the rest of the team will be escaping while they still can as well.

I like your optimism, Jaymeister. Stiff upper lip and all that. Pip pip.

I vote France be given a special trophy for providing unintentional comedy.

I'm hopeful, but realistically I can't see it happening.

Yep, certainly can't see it happening now. Tongue

Slovakia did well, though. Always good to see the Italians lose.

It's a shame our dreams are over already, but I think we did quite well considering everyone's expectations (including our own) Smiley

I'm just glad we ended up above Italy in the group! Never saw that one coming.

Welp, that's it. We should have let Croatia qualify instead.

Those Germans have magical powers, they do. They're all witches.
