Just going back to Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble, which I picked up last week...

I finally had a chance to play through quite a few levels today and I'm really enjoying it so far. The presentation is excellent, the controls work as well as they did on the GC games and best of all, the touch screen interactions are pretty imaginative and work well. A very good game so far.

A few days ago I bought Vice City Stories. I'm kinda stuck (meaning I played it a couple times and probably won't be bothered with trying it again for a few days) on one mission where you have to load explosives onto a truck with a forklift before the warehouse you're in blows up. It's rather unforgiving, and the forklift handles like a tank.

finally got round to ordering Ninja 5-0 for GBA. it arrived this morning. Haven't played it yet. got it for about £20 too, which can't be bad for a brand-new rare game.

edit:: i have played it now. have been playing it for most of the day in fact. it's freakin sweet! with small, quick detailed sprites this game has a simple and clean yet action-packed feel. find a copy now before they're all gone. i got mine from this seller: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GameBoy-Advance-NINJA-Five-O-new-SP-Ninja-5-0_W0QQitemZ290047107097QQihZ019QQcategoryZ62053QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Will anyone be purchasing the last great GBA game by Orbital Media?

Back to Stone and Mazes of Fate looks like they could be pretty big.

Tony Hawks Downhill Jam and Magical Starsign just arrived. So far Tony Hawks is sweet fun. report later when i've played them more.

play update:: magical starsign is easy, harmless fun so far, excellent graphics and great integration of the two screens
tony hawks DJ is more challenging and also has sweet, fast graphics. there doesn't seem to be as much freedom as in the previous games- courses are narrower, less open- but its a buzz to boost down hills trying to string combos together as you go.

Is it true that Tony Hawk DJ has more in common with a game like SSX than it does with previous TH games?

it's like a mix of the two. It still feels very much like a tony hawks game, but there's a greater sense of speed and less freedom to the layout of the levels. Actually, i'm really enjoying it. the online mode doesn't appear to work though. (i'm in the UK, and it's a US copy of the game)

Today I bought Wario Ware Inc. for just 10 euros. I'm probably the last person in the world who still didn't have it. Anyways it's just plain fun. Who could have thought that a game that uses only the + control pad and A button could be this fun.

I've still never played any of the Wario Ware games!

Which I actually am quite ashamed about being a long-time Wario fan. I'm going to pick up Twisted when it finally releases here.

I played the original Wario Ware and liked it pretty well (just not enough to buy it yet).  I really didn't care for Touched though - I got really bored of it way too quickly.  I've heard Twisted is the best of the bunch though.

I wasn't sure if it would last long anough, but since it got such good ratings I couldn't resist it's price for just 10 euros.

While in Wal-Mart yesterday, I found a copy of Wipeout Pure as well as a few other PSP launch games for $12. It was just too sweet a deal to pass up.

I really didn't like Spiderman: Unlimited, it's the only DS game I've traded in so far. I like the idea of reading comics on the DS (I know there's a homebrew app out there to do it)

I've picked up Pokémon FireRed and DKC2 both grat classics. The graphics of DKC2 are far inferior to the SNES version, though. It takes a whole lot out of the overall experience. The could at least have made the colors somewhat darker. Pokémon FireRed is still a game that's going strong on GBA.
