Is anyone here even playing this game?

If you are, here's my code; we'll have a game!

Not a friend code, but I'm curious to how Brawl's online is working out.  I heard it's been rather problematic.

It's hit or miss, in the anonymous matches you'll sometimes get a game that has terrible lag (Or right after somebody joins a match), from what I can tell Nintendo is being "fair" and lagging everyone because one player is laggy. However when you get a good ping (And even sometimes when you don't) you can still have a blast. It's sort of disappointing that all of the players are labeled as P1, P2, P3, and P4 respectively in these types of matches; without proper names it's hard to gain any sort of communication between matches when somebody changes their character. In this mode you're stuck playing either team mode (I've never found a match, looks for fun though...), basic brawl stuck (with two minute time mode only), or spectator mode (where you watch online replays and bet on who will win, this is great fun in my opinion).

Friend matches are a slightly different story though, with any friends you register you can gauge their connection quality based on the color of a little light beside their name, so if you're smart you shouldn't get much lag. In friend matches you're allowed names and rudimentary chat that you can preassign to the four available taunts; once again if you're smart you can make good use of these (And who really articulates all that much even when playing four player smash bros in person?). You can choose between co-op multiman melee (Awesome), co-op homerun derby, and Brawl (With team-modes, custom items, etc).

All round it could have been done much better, but it's competent.
