In order for me to catch up on what games are coming out this year, I encourage you to post what you anticipate for 2008 on DS, PSP, or any other handheld system.

I really don't have much myself:

- Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (DS)
- I really want to know how this series will go since most of the beloved characters from the Phoenix Wright series are now gone.
- The World Ends With You (DS)
- An original Square-Enix RPG set in the contemporary world.  I think this is "It's a Wonderful World" in Japan, if I'm not mistaken.
- Phantasy Star Portable (PSP)
- I'm really curious to see what they are going to do to a game that is infamous and well-beloved for its online component.  I hear multiplayer will come in the form of ad-hoc gaming (like Monster Hunter for PSP), but that really sucks for most North Americans (and I imagine it's the same for Europeans).
I really want to get a hold of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin for DS. I'm not particularly good at strategy games, but I've always found the Advance Wars games really addictive. The more mature theme is an added bonus. Also if the FFIV remake makes it this year then I will be looking to pick that up too.

Castlevania 3 like a good game.

Haven't seen much games in particular that really interest me.

Oh crap, I almost forgot God of War on the PSP.  The demo was surprisingly solid for a portable title.

I've been hearing great things for Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword for the DS. Watching videos and previews has lead me to believe I'm going to like it.

It looks pretty gnarly for a DS game, but I'm still not convinced about the controls.  Seems too good to be true.

Throw Patapon on this list.  The demo is fantastic.  I really can't describe it well other than it's a rhythm-based strategy tribal war game.

I'm contemplating on whether to get Professor Layton. It hass been described as a puzzle adventure game which  reminds me a lot of Hotel Dusk, which is easily the most enjoyable DS game I've played.

Layton looks like Brain Age meets European-styled cartoon graphic adventure.  Completely oddball, yet looks very compelling.

Yeah, it looks charming. A typical DS game.
